Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
This policy explains how Runlo collects and uses information when you visit runlo.co.uk or submit a contact form.
What we collect
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our website. This collects anonymous data about page visits, referral sources, and time on site. We don't collect names or personal details through analytics.
If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, and any message you choose to share. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry.
Cookies
We use one first-party cookie (runlo_consent) to remember your analytics preference. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure traffic. You can decline at any time using the banner shown on your first visit, or by clearing your cookies.
Legal basis
We process analytics data only with your consent. We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest — responding to a direct enquiry from you.
Third parties
We share no personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use:
- Google Analytics — anonymised traffic data, subject to Google's privacy policy
- Netlify — hosting provider, processes form submissions on our behalf under their data processing agreement
Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 26 months (Google's default). Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then deleted.
Your rights (GDPR)
As a UK or EU resident, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing or withdraw consent
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@runlo.co.uk. We'll respond within 30 days.
